Barbara was born in Flint, MI on Aug. 9, 1931 to Howard and Josephine (Gardener) Geary. She was the third of seven children and later in life reunited with a half-sister. She was the devoted wife of Harold "George" Gray for 55 wonderful years of marriage.

Barbara lived her life to the fullest and had fun everywhere she went. Her family was everything to her. She also adored the many dogs she raised throughout her life. Some of her favorite things were getting dolled up and going dancing with George, socializing with her friends at the Elk's Club, playing games and working on crafts.

Barbara is survived by her children: Denis (Antoinette) Gray and Deborah Eggert of Clermont, FL, Grandchildren: Deanna (Jerry) Spiegel of Coal Valley, IL, Dixie (Jeff) Faber of Phoenix, AZ, Melissa Blake of Fleming Island, FL, Tyler Gray of Hutchinson, KS, and Delaney (Will) Cunningham of Jacksonville, FL, Great Grandchildren: Kylie & Justin Spiegel of Coal Valley, IL, and Garron & Leityn Blake of Fleming Island, FL, Half Sister: Linda Hockemeyer of Hope, MI.

In addition to her parents and siblings, Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold, on July 21, 2021.

A private ceremony for the family will be held at a date yet to be determined.
