With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Bettina Austin, who passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at the age of 62.

Bettina was born on October 16, 1962, in Altenbamberg, Germany, and later became a proud U.S. citizen in her teen years. On December 11, 1981, she married the love of her life, Doland Austin, with whom she shared a beautiful journey filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Bettina found joy in life's simplest pleasures, spending time with her family, nurturing her garden, and challenging herself with puzzle games. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love left an everlasting imprint on the hearts of all who knew her.

She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Doland Austin; her three beloved children, David Austin of Belleview, FL; Daysha Austin of Clermont, FL; and Steen Austin (Desiree) of Minneola, FL. Her six adoring grandchildren, Austin Neff, Tiffany Neff, Aubrianna Rossetti, Lindley Austin, Arya Austin, and Evie Austin; her sister, Angie Chavis of Augusta, GA and her brother, Jurgen Helms of Augusta, GA.

As per Bettina's wishes, a private service will be held in the spring to spread her ashes, honoring her memory in the season of renewal and beauty.

Bettina's love, laughter, and gentle spirit will remain with us always. May she rest in peace, knowing she was deeply loved.
