Christopher John Swanson (also nicknamed by friends, Swanny, Swanson and most importantly, OD) a resident of Clermont, FL, passed away peacefully at the age of 53 on Friday, March 17, 2023.  He was born in Quincy, MA and graduated from Quincy High School Class of 1987 and attended Northeast Institute of Industrial Technology for refrigeration/HVAC.

Chris fought a determined and most valiant battle against Stage IV Hepatocellular Carcinoma (liver cancer).  After receiving a terminal diagnosis 22 months ago, in true Chris fashion, he refused to accept it and proceeded to fight hard with amazing grace taking all treatment options available to him.  Not only did Chris continue to work during this time, but he also became a beacon of light to all those he encountered, whether it was a friend, coworker, customer, vendor, or someone he just met.

Chris was the epitome of a devoted family man and employee.  His girls came first no matter what and a driving motivation for all he did.  He was employed as an Account Executive for Westbrook Service Corporation, for the last 17 years, where he was the recipient of various awards, including the SPGroup 2021 Project Sales Contest achieving 4 ^th place, again in 2022 achieving 3 ^rd Place, along with the SPGroup 2022 Outstanding Performance Award.

Through the years, Chris enjoyed playing golf, softball, darts, cribbage, and most of all spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed his annual vacation to the Florida Keys where he would finally relax, enjoy his favorite foods, and visit with the many friends he made down there. He will always be remembered for his boisterous personality, generosity, and true dedication of love to his family.

Chris is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra (Savard); his adored daughter, Courtney Elizabeth Teseniar and husband, Shawn; his cherished grandchildren: Emersyn Kate Teseniar, Harper Ann Bagley & Beau Douglas Bagley (Rooster), his mother-in-law Lois King and husband Paul; his father-in-law Richard Savard and wife Karen; his mother Judith Salvatore and husband Hugo (Sal); his sister, Lynne McCarthy and husband Eric; his brothers-in-law: Rob Savard and wife Tammy and Mike Savard and wife Angie; many loving friends, aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces; dear friends: Brian King, Alan Peters, and John Fajardo; and not to forget his four-legged-friends: Gronk, Baby Kitty, Remy, and his granddog, Bruin. Chris was predeceased by his brother, Eric Swanson and his grandparents, Ralph and Esther Wheeler.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Chris's Life on Friday, March 24, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m with a Tribute beginning promptly at 2:15 p.m at Cremation Choices, 921 S. US Hwy 27, Minneola, FL .  In Chris's honor and love for the Keys, please feel free to wear your brightest or colorful attire.  We will welcome family and friends to join us after these services at the home of Courtney & Shawn Teseniar as we gather to share food, drinks, and memories.
