Diane L. (Tiedt) Carollo, 57, of Clermont, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023 after a brief illness. She was born in Hinsdale, IL to Maureen (Mitchell) and the late Alan Tiedt.  She graduated from Lyons Township High School and eventually relocated to Florida to start a new adventure with her family. Diane worked at the Richard Petty Driving Experience as an administrative assistant and then moved to the town of Oakland Public Works Department. She enjoyed photography, taking pictures of sunsets, beaches, but mostly family. Seldom was Diane ever in any of the photos because she was always the one behind the camera taking them! Another leisure activity Diane liked was crafting for special occasions. She was known for making custom goodie bags and decorations for her loved one's events.

Diane was Mom to not only her children but to their friends as well, rarely being called "Mrs. Carollo." Her motherly qualities were always shared among those around her.

She is survived by Mike, her loving husband of 37 years; her children: Amanda Carollo-Schultz and husband James and Mikey Carollo; her adored granddaughter Allison Schultz; her sisters: Karen Thompson and husband Bret and Kris Tiedt; her brother-in-law Tim Hays; her beloved dogs: Shelby and Wrigley and friends too numerous to mention.

A Celebration of Diane's Life will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Oakland Meeting Hall, 221 N. Arrington St., Oakland, FL 34760.
