Donald Dean Lewton, Jr., 67, of Minneola, Florida, born on January 1, 1956, went to be with the Lord on April 12, 2023. Don was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Donald and Lillian Lewton. Don graduated from Chartiers Valley High School 1974. He then enlisted in the United States Air Force and proudly served his country from 1974-1978. Back to civilian life, Don graduated from Seminole Community College where he studied Criminal Justice.  He began his career as a Corrections Officer in 1982 with the Orange County Sheriff's Office and retired as Sergeant in 2005 after 23 years of dedicated service. Don met Lee, the love of his life, and they married in 2001. In his leisure time, Don enjoyed woodworking, fishing, traveling, cruising, spending time with his grandchildren as well as riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and driving his Corvette. He loved his family deeply and gave them his heart and they in return. He will be missed dearly.

In addition to his wife, Don is survived by his children: Stefani, Lynda and Christopher (Boeing); his grandchildren:  Enzo and Jacarri; his brother Ken Lewton (Carlene) and nieces: Kim and Valerie.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at the Citrus Heights Church of the Nazarene, 101 S. Grand Highway, Clermont on Sunday, April 23 beginning at 10:30 a.m.
