IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Florida L.
White
November 27, 1979 – November 8, 2025
Revelation 21:4 (NWT)
"And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes,
and death will be no more,
neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.
The former things have passed away."
Florida Lorraine White, 45, of Clermont, passed away on November 8, 2025. She was born on November 27, 1979, in Melrose Park, Illinois, the second child of Roy E. White Sr. and the late Karen J. (Cook) White. She was lovingly known as Flo, named after her paternal grandmother, the late Florida Hearring.
Flo was raised in the Jehovah's Witness faith, and she remained committed to those beliefs throughout her life. She was a spirited child, full of wonder and love. She made friends easily, and those who knew her loved her dearly. An independent thinker, Flo lived her young adult life in her own way and on her own terms.
At 26, she welcomed her first child, Kadyn White. Just over a year later, she welcomed her daughter, Lakisha Carpenter, with her then-husband, Charles Carpenter. Florida loved her children deeply and worked hard to provide a good life for them.
At the young age of 27, she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). She never allowed her diagnosis to define her or prevent her from being a devoted mother, daughter, sister, or friend. Flo continued to fight courageously, determined to remain in good spirits while living with this illness. Through all her challenges, she stayed grounded in her faith in Jehovah. She often said that she knew God loved her, even through the struggles.
In addition to her beloved children, she leaves behind her father, Roy E. White Sr., and her bonus mother Jill; her sisters: Nedra White, Nola Pennant and husband Tyrone, Tameka Shaw-Ashley and husband John, Antoinette Yvette Silas, and bonus sister Monica Roundtree; her brothers: Roy White Jr. and wife Lori, Sheldon Troy Allen and wife Michelle, Travis White and wife Brittany; and her bonus brothers: Jaime Roundtree and wife Lisa, Willie Hill, and Anthony Hill. She is also survived by a multitude of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends who became family along her journey.
Although her time on earth has come to an end, she will forever remain in our thoughts, in the memories we share, and in our hearts.
We love you always, Flo, and we pray that we will see you again.
Psalms 37:29 (NWT)
"The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it."
John 5:28, 29
"Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice
and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life."
