It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George W. Coburn, Jr., beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather on January 10, 2024, surrounded by his wife and children. He was born on January 16, 1942, in Biddeford, Maine to the late George W. Sr. and Yvonne (D'Amour) Coburn. George retired early and continued his passion for woodworking - building lawn swings and picnic tables under the Pine Craft Shop logo in Saco, Maine. He would always create works of art for his family at Christmas; a tradition that continued when he relocated to Florida. George volunteered at the Saco Food Pantry for many years, which gave him great pleasure in helping others.

George is survived by Theresa (Zimnicki), his loving wife of 56 years; his son Mark and wife Christine; his daughter Tina Cote-McDonald and husband Fred; his cherished grandchildren: Katilyn Lambert and husband Ryan, Jessica Walker and partner Brittany, Allison Godfrey and husband John and Ricky Blydenburgh-Cote and husband Jeremy; his adored great-grandsons, Cameron and Isaiah; his brother Fred Coburn as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of George's life will be held in Maine at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Saco Food Pantry, 67 Ocean Park Road, Saco, ME 04072.
