Obituary

On April 20, 2023, Gerald "Jerry" Kuchinski, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend passed away at the age of 87 years young. Jerry was born in Kansas City, KS to the late George and Stella (Fase) Kuchinski. His first job was after school with Montgomery Ward in Kansas City, MO, where he filled and prepared customers' mail orders while on roller skates. Jerry proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and attained the rank of Aviation Electronic Technician Second Class. He began his career at AT&T in 1956 as technician and retired as a Networks Operation second-level manager in 1986. Jerry became an Honorary Warrior in the tribe of MIC-O-SAY in the Boy Scouts of America in Kansas City. After retirement, his passion for RV'ing encouraged him to join the Holiday Rambler Recreational Vehicle Club.

A very loyal husband and family man, Jerry is survived by Rose (Tarpy) his devoted wife of 65 years; his children: Sharon Kuchinski Main and husband Brian, Sandra Kuchinski West and David Kuchinski and wife Becky; his eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild and his beloved fur babies.

He was always there for the good times and even more so for the stressful times of our lives and we will miss him tremendously.

Jerry will be laid to rest with military honors on May 15, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Jerry's name to a charity of your choice.
