Phil Engstrom of Bolingbrook, IL passed away peacefully on November 25, 2016 at the age of 68 at Mike Conley Hospice House in Clermont, FL. There will be a memorial service at Papa's Pizza, 83 ^rd Street Center, 8258 Janes Avenue, Woodridge, IL 60517 on December 11 at Noon.

Phil was born November 23, 1948 a son of Harry and Marie Engstrom. He is survived by his loving and loyal wife of 25 years Barbara (Shepherd) Engstrom.

Also surviving is a daughter Linda Engstrom; sons Kenneth (Tiffani) Engstrom, Matthew (Linnea) Engstrom and Stan Shepherd; grandchildren Jason, Brianna, Lucas, Justin (Cassey) and David; sisters Carol (John) Allaway and Janet (Jack) Engstrom.

His parents and eldest son H. Joseph Engstrom preceded him in death.

Phil graduated from University of Chicago Laboratory Schools and attended DePaul University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and later obtained his CPA.

Phil was very active with many community organizations, including the Bolingbrook Jaycees, Lyons Club, Rotary Club, Grey Core and the Bolingbrook Police Pension Board. He enjoyed coin collecting, shooting pool, playing cards and bowling.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Mike Conley Hospice House, 2100 Oakley Seaver Blvd, Clermont, FL 34711, where Phil spent his final days.
