Obituary

Harriet Ann Hooley, age 78, passed away November 20, 2019 at home surrounded by her husband and children.  Harriet was under the care of Cornerstone Hospice and had been suffering from Alzheimer's disease for ten years.

She was born January 14, 1941 in Irvington, NJ and the daughter of Lorraine Anderson and Leo Perlmutter.

Harriet was a graduate of Keyport High School class of 1959.  Later in life she enrolled at Brookdale Community College where she obtained her Associates Degree in Food Service & Business Management. She was employed at Keyport Board of Education as a Cafeteria Coordinator. She served as a Justice of the Peace in both New Hampshire and Florida, which was a role she had great pride in and conducted numerous weddings. Harriet had many hobbies and was a member on many committees within her community; she loved to sing and was a member of the Chorus.

On March 25, 1961 she was united in marriage to William Robert Hooley in Keyport, NJ.  She and William were Florida residents since 2002 after moving from Bedford, NH. She is survived by her loving husband William; son William Leo Hooley and daughter Lorraine Robin Cather and husband Charles, her sister Linda Geis and husband Thomas;  eight grandchildren Robin, William Christopher, Heather, Dana, Jennifer, George, Samantha and Jake, four great-grandchildren William Robert, LaMarques, Lucy and Budd.
