Hubert Porterfield, 86, of Leesburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife and family. Hubie was born in Normalville, PA to the late Reide and Luella (Lohr) Porterfield and moved to Michigan in 1964. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a decorated sharpshooter. Back to civilian life, Hubie was a 50-year member of the Carpenter's Union and a lifetime member of the Livingston Masonic Lodge 76 in Pinckney, MI.  In his retirement he enjoyed traveling the U.S. and spending winters at his winter home in Florida, where he had great times playing cards with his many friends.  In 2020 he sold his home in Pinckney MI and relocated permanently to Florida.  Hubie was also a classic car collector and belonged to many Classic Car Clubs.  His smile will forever shine brightly in our memories.
Hubie is survived by Deborah (Jones) his adored wife of 41 years; his daughter, Tamara Klausen and recently discovered son, Brian Anderson.
