Joseph Lyons was born April 4, 1942 to the late Lucille and Branch Lyons.

As a young man he graduated from Brinkley High School.

He married his high school sweetheart, Carrie Shuler in 1964 at the age of 21.Together they relocated to Chicago, Illinois, where they became members of Salem Baptist Church and home owners for 36 years, where they were well loved and respected by the community.

Joe was a butcher for a whole sale company and retired after 25 years of dedication.

Joseph leaves behind his devoted wife of 53 years Carrie Lyons, their two children Christopher Lyons of Sorrento, Florida and Cara Lyons of Chicago, Illinois. He also precedes 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, a brother and sister, a host of nieces, nephews, family and  friends...
