Karen Karr, 71, of Clermont, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Wednesday, January 11, 2023. She was born on July 2, 1951, in Vandalia, IL to the late Robert and Mary (Croster) Karr. She grew up in Channahon and graduated from Minooka High School. She lived most of her life in Joliet, IL. Whether it was taking a road trip or deciding to up and move to Florida, she was always up for an adventure. She could also never pass up a good garage sale, Native American Pow Wow or Cubs game, of which she was a huge fan.  Karen's family and friends were the world to her; especially during her brief battle with cancer. They were her strength and support. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by her children: Kim Panozzo and husband Jim, Leslie Kranz, Rob Harris and wife PJ; her adored grandchildren:  Ashley, Sarah and her husband Tray, Courtney and her boyfriend Richie, Kyle, Leah, Maddyson, and Jacob; her siblings: Bobby Karr [d.2020] wife Sarah, Charlie and Bill Karr, Jo Ann Pilar; and numerous adored nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Karen will be held on February 10 ^th from 5-8pm at the American Legion Post 1080 at 2625 Ingalls Ave. Joliet, IL 60435 .
