On April 23, 2023, Karen E. (Brosat) Luck, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Sister passed away at the age of 80 years young surrounded by her family. Karen was born in Gloversville, NY to the late John Brosat and Hermina (Zeh) Fechner. She was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse and then retired as a retail manager. Karen was deeply loved and will be missed by all whose lives she touched. She is survived by her children: Laurie Rouse and husband Lonnie, Charlene Johnson and husband CJ, Richard Luck, Michael Luck and wife Melissa and Cheryl Parlin and husband Zack; her sixteen grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren and her sister, Cathy Cameron. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Richard Brosat.
O Lord my God, I thank you that you are the Lord of Life. The Life of our loved one was a gift from You. She received love as Your child, and we are grateful that she poured out that love to us. We thank You that she has been set free from all pain and suffering. May we cherish the memory of her. We are so thankful that she is now at rest with You. She was a pillar, a gift of love and a treasure to our souls. Lord, at this moment, nothing seems to be able to help the loss we feel. Our hearts are broken, and our spirit mourns. We choose to lean on You. We pour out our grief to You. We know Your Grace is sufficient and there is comfort in knowing that she is with You in Heaven.
She Is Not Gone
Ease your grief, she is not gone.
For in our hearts, she lingers on.
Her smile, her laugh, her special way,
Will comfort you from day to day.
You'll feel her presence in the breeze.
That dances gently through the trees.
And it's her face that you will see.
When you are in need of company.
At any time, you can recall
The love you shared.
You saved it all.
And in time, more than anything,
You'll find peace in remembering.
