Margaret Linda Hoadley Peacock, 87, died October 14, 2019. She was born January 26, 1932 in Endicott, NY to Kenneth and Amanda Margaret (Strickland) Hoadley. She graduated from Clearwater High School, and Florida State University with BA and MS degrees. She was married 55 years to Dr. Jimmy Ray Peacock. They settled in Clermont in 1964, and were involved in church, scouting and sports activities. She was a DAR member, and worked 21 years at Cooper Memorial Library. She enjoyed reading,
genealogy research, and trailer camping. She is survived by daughter Margaret Marie Locke, son Kenneth (Lisa), granddaughters Laura (Scott) Ballard, Rachel Warnock, Kaelyn Peacock, Jayna Peacock, and brother John Hoadley.

Burial will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL on Friday, November 8 at 1:30 PM.
