Mary A. McRorie

Mary Ann (Raker) McRorie, 94, of Leesburg, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026. Born in Delta, OH, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Shirley (Barret) Raker.

Mary Ann attended Whitney High School and University of Toledo. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper and was a faithful member of Celebration Baptist Church. Mary Ann cherished her many friendships and especially enjoyed quilting.

She is survived by her children, Jack Whittaker, Cheryl Merritt, and Laurie Loomis; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Whittaker Sr., and her son, Robert “Bob” Whittaker Jr.

Mary Ann will be remembered for her kindness, devotion to family, and the many lives she touched throughout her years.
