Mary Jane Sicker; January 17, 2020; age 78; of Clermont Florida. Mary was the daughter of Mary Elizabeth Neiss Smith and Alfred Smith. She grew up in Rochester NY and was a 1959 graduate of Charlotte High School. On July 1, 1961, she married Robert Sicker and together they shared 58 years of marriage. During their years of marriage, they had five children; one son and four daughters. Those who knew Mary Jane often affectionately called her "Mame".

Mary Jane was a passionate crafter. She especially enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Mary Jane would often give her crocheted blankets to friends, family, and those in need. Mary Jane was an avid reader who enjoyed reading novels written by Danielle Steel. Mary Jane and her husband Robert loved to travel and went on many adventures throughout the years. One of their most memorable moments includes the time they went line dancing at Wild Horse Saloon in Nashville Tennessee.

Mary Jane is preceded in death by her parents, brother Allen Smith, and great-grandson Andrew Lincoln. Mary Jane is survived by her loving husband Robert Sicker, her children Robert Sicker (Deborah), Michelle Connors (James), Deborah Lincoln (David), Laurie Varricchio (Rocky), Deann Sicker (Ed Farrell), and her brother Gordon (Bud) Smith. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews, and many wonderful friends.

There will be an 11:00 a.m. funeral mass January 28, 2020 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 720 12th St, Clermont, FL.
