Mike Harris passed away at home on May 19, 2023 in the loving arms of his wife Jan, daughter Kristi Puglisi-Bromante and son-in-law Dean Bromante after complications from a long, hard fought battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). Mike lived the majority of his years in South Florida having recently moved to Central Florida.  While there were dreams Mike had still hoped to achieve, he was very fortunate in his life to have had so many dreams come true and to have shared them with those he loved and cared for.

Mike will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, PopPop, brother, uncle, friend and will be greatly missed every day. However, his memory will be forever in the hearts of those who shared their lives with him. In addition to his family mentioned above, Mike is also survived by his adored  and loved grandchildren, Rylee and Cooper Puglisi as well as "plus" grandkids, Danny and Olivia; his "brothers" in-law: Tom Grammer and wife Sharon, Gary Grammer and wife Diane; lifelong "brother" and friend Robin Slabe and wife Gail; his brother Rick (Greg); sister-in-law Pam Grammer; several nieces and nephews and many special forever friends.

Mike's family cannot thank the staff of VITAS of Lake County enough; especially for the loving care, support and kindness of Kay, Chanmatti, Sara, Amy and Pastor Dave who treated Mike like a family member and not just a patient.

A Celebration of Mike's life for family and friends will be held on June 24, 2023 in Plantation, FL.
