Michelle A. (Petty) Sanservino, 58, of Groveland, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. She was born and raised in Chicago, IL to the late Edmund and Bernadette (Cappello) Petty. Michelle graduated from Triton College with an associate's degree. After settling in Florida in 2002 with her family, she was employed by Publix Super Market as a cashier and trainer for several years; but her most loved job was being a Mom. She enjoyed spending time with her children cooking and baking and especially loved quiet evenings curled up on the couch with her husband Anthony while wrapped in a heated blanket watching movies and eating frosted flakes and a bagel with peanut butter. Sitting in a swing by the ocean was of her favorite things to do. Although Michelle fought a long, difficult health battle, she always remained positive. She was known for being a shining light, brave, strong, welcoming, supportive, and cared deeply for others.

A devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and great aunt, Michelle is survived by Anthony, her beloved husband of almost 30 years; her children, Nicole and Angelo; her sister, Karen Petty and partner Timothy Mahoney;  her niece, Oksana Mughrabi and husband Omar; her great nephew, Marshall Mughrabi; her sister in-law, Debbie Krueger and husband Robert along with their children as well as many friends and pets.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her great niece, Noelle Mughrabi; her in-laws, Irene and Nicholas Sanservino; her brother-in-law, Nicholas Sanservino, and many animals who loved her and welcomed her into heaven.
