IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Nanette Carmen
Skivers
January 5, 1962 – January 13, 2021
To my loving wife, Nanette Skivers,
Our lives crossed paths like shooting stars. The carnival created that once in a lifetime chance meeting in the summer of 1979. We instantly fell in love and were soulmates the next 42 years.
The last 2 years with MS and cancer gave her a poor quality of life. But she fought hard and is with our son Nicholas in Heaven now and a lot of family and friends and waiting for me. I love you Nan and life without you won't be the same till I join you.
Nanette is survived by husband Kem Skivers, sons Benjamin Skivers, Joseph Skivers, Tony Walton and late son Nicholas Skivers; grand-daughters Jaden and Sasha Skivers and grand-sons Davon and Braydon Walton; mother and stepfather Helen and Al Inman; brothers James and Forest Burns; sister and brother-in-law Cherry and Ronald Walton; late brother Thomas Burns and late father James Burns; sister in law Debbie Gottke and late Rita Woodgeard and later mother and father in laws Patty and Albert Fusitt; a ton of nieces and nephews; family-like friends in Lancaster, Ohio, Fremont, Michigan and Groveland, Florida; all our friends from the Pugh Shows Carnival.
Nanette was a former arm wrestling champ at the downtown festival in Groveland, Florida, 1987. She also worked at BG Hamon and BW Juice Plant in Groveland.
