Nelson E. Miles, 74, of Clermont, FL passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on January 9, 2023. Nelson was born in Waukegan, IL on October 23, 1948, and raised in Zion, IL where he graduated with the class of 1966 at Zion-Benton Township High School.

His lifelong career was in the automobile business and was blessed to find his passion at a young age. He loved old and new cars, designing and building his businesses and homes. He was a great conversationalist and enjoyed sharing stories and experiences.

At the age of 27, he became one of the youngest Ford dealers in the country. Over the span of his career, he found success operating a Porsche-Audi dealership, a Buick-Pontiac-GMC dealership, a used car dealership and then purchased a Chevrolet franchise and built a new dealership from the ground up.

Nelson loved his family, children and grandchildren. He was a generous man, the rock of his family and will be truly missed. He is survived by his best friend and devoted wife of 53 years, Barbara (Rosko) Miles, his two daughters: Tami Senich and husband Michael, Tracy Stone and husband Michael; his five grandchildren: Jacob Senich, Tyler Stone, Chase Stone, Madison Stone and Adam Stone; his brother Danny Miles along with many nieces and nephews.

Nelson was predeceased by his parents Anzley and Ruby Miles and his brother Arthur Thomas Miles.

His family is planning a private Celebration of his Life.
