Obituary
Patricia "Patty" Ann Kollmer, 92 of Clermont, Florida went to her heavenly home peacefully November 2, 2022.
Born on December 17, 1929, in Ossining, New York she was the daughter of the late Christopher and Fannie O'Toole. Pat was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl Abshire, her second husband George Kollmer, brother James O'Toole, and parents Christopher and Fannie O'Toole.
In her early 20's she worked for Readers Digest in Chappaqua, New York. After marrying Carl, they moved to Maryland where she became a wife and mother to her two sons, Jeff and Scot, and daughter Carrie.
In her later years at the age of 63 Pat married George Kollmer and they lived a very happy 27 years until he passed away in March 2019. She was an avid baseball fan all her life and rarely miss any televised games and then would call her two sons to talk about the scores and homeruns!
During this past year, Pat enjoyed attending Lake County Adult Activity Center in Clermont, FL. She made many new friends there and would come home each day with a BIG SMILE and would tell us about her fun filled days at the family dinner table. Her most descriptive word was always WOW! "What fun we had bowling and playing bingo today!" I will miss her saying that every day!!
Pat is survived by her two sons Jeff and Scot Abshire and daughter Carrie (Wells), son in law Brian Wells, one granddaughter Alyssa and four step grandchildren Damaris, Josiah, Breanna, and Noah.
Mom, as your daughter your death impacted me in ways I didn't expect, but these last few years we had together impacted me the most.
We will deeply miss you but look forward to being together again in our Heavenly Father's house where He has prepared a place for each of us. (John 14:3).
