Paul Shepard passed away peacefully at Mike Conley Hospice House on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. He was born on May 20, 1925 in Jessup, PA and celebrated life for 98 years. Enlisting in the U.S. Army, Paul proudly served his country during WWII in China, Burma and India. He was a member of the Shriners International Organization and loved fundraising to help children. Before he retired, he worked tirelessly for children and families in Macomb County, MI.
Thank you to all the many people he called friends. All those who would wave and beep from their cars while he sat on his porch on Harder Road. To his neighbors, he felt you were family. Sheila, Chris, David and Larry send you on your way to be with their mother, Abbey, your beloved wife who passed away 10 years earlier. They will both be laid to rest in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
