Ronald Ray Nichols of Groveland, FL, 79, went home to be with the Lord on November 21, 2020 at 2:00 P.M., and with his wife, Margaret Nichols of 49 years together.

Ronald, favorably known as Ron, Daddy, Grandad and as Donald Duck, is survived by his loving children along with their spouses. His daughter - Wendy Nichols of Groveland and fiance Donald Brown of Hampton, FL; son - Wendell and wife Michelle Nichols of Groveland, FL; son - Robert and wife Holly Nichols of Groveland, FL; adopted son - Mark and wife Teresa Nichols of Tennessee; his grandchildren - Owen (Bo), Dallas, Ray, Caroline, Marjorie, Chloe, Ava, Christian, Anthony, Zack, Kolton and Ali; his great-grandchildren, total of eleven; his sister Janice Nichols Smith of Georgia; nieces, nephews, cousins and close family members.

He was preceded by his wife Margaret Marjorie Nichols, parents Ray D. and Janice G. Nichols and two brothers, Irwin and Edwin Nichols.

Ronald was loved by his family and friends. He loved to work with his wife and son in the nursery and landscaping jobs. Ron started Nichols Nursery and Landscaping in 1956 with his brother Edwin. He loved working with his wife Margie. For 22 years they worked side by side in the daycare (some know him as uncle Ron or Grandad). Ron touched so many lives with his kindness and generosity and we will miss him dearly.
