IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rose A.
Kuchinski
June 22, 1936 – January 11, 2024
On January 11, 2024, Rose Kuchinski, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend passed away at 87 years young. She was born in Council Bluffs, IA to the late Roy and Lillian Mowry. Due to the death of her mother, shortly after her birth, she was adopted by the late Roy and Ethel (Mowry) Tarpy, who lovingly raised her to become the wonderful woman she was. Rose was proud of her Irish heritage and enjoyed celebrating St. Patrick's Day with her famous green colored dinners. After her retirement from AT&T in 1986, her passion for RV'ing with her husband led them to become members of the Holiday Rambler Recreation Vehicle Club. In her quiet times, Rose enjoyed reminiscing about childhood memories with Marylee, her friend of 85 years. A beautiful lady inside and out, Rose will always be remembered for her welcoming and warm personality, her humor and her infectious smile.
She is survived by her children: Sharon Kuchinski Main and husband Brian, Sandra Kuchinski West, and David Kuchinski and wife Becky; her eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Rose was predeceased by Jerry, her beloved husband of 65 years with whom she is now reunited in spirit.
Rose will be laid to rest beside her husband in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL., on January 29, 2024, at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Rose's name to a charity of your choice.
