IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sandra L.
Martin
September 6, 1946 – January 10, 2023
Sandra Lee (Fingal) Martin, 76, of Clermont, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on Tuesday, January 10, 2023. She was born on September 6, 1946, in Minnesota to the late Alvin and Marjorie (Holmquist) Fingal. Sandra attended business school and bookkeeping became her career.
In her younger years she loved water skiing, skeet shooting, fishing, and working on cars with her dad. Sandra was an active member with her faith family at the First Methodist Mansfield, TX. After more than 20 years in Texas, she found happiness in Clermont, FL in 2021. Sandra was very artistic and creative; after moving to Florida, she enjoyed gardening and developed her "green thumb". She never met a stranger she didn't enjoy talking to. Sandra heroically fought lung and brain cancer for over two years. Her family was her strength and support through the battle. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving children: Todd Martin of Gloucester, VA, Michael Martin and wife Shana of Groveland, FL, Jo Ann Flores and husband Paul of Midlothian, TX and June Martin also of Midlothian, TX; her cherished grandchildren: Kolton, Kaleb, Taylor, Shawna , Illiana, Caleb, MacKenna, Thomas, Trenton, Trinity, Brennon, Alyson and her adored cat, Faith. In addition to her parents, Alvin and Marjorie Fingal, she was predeceased by her son, Gregory Martin.
In honor of Sandra's love for animals and the Cat Cafe in Orlando being a favorite spot, please consider making a donation in Sandra's name to https://www.orlandocatcafe.com/ways-to-help/#donation.
