Obituary

Sharon Faye Bossow passed away in her home of heart failure on January 2, 2022.

Sharon was 76 at her time of death.

Sharon was born in West Point, Ne. on February 8, 1945 to Arthur and Dorothea (Lase) Kollmorgen.

Sharon graduated from Snyder H.S. in Snyder Ne. and from Wayne State College, Wayne Ne. with a degree in Medical Technology. She enjoyed her work and spent her entire career as a Medical Technologist at various hospitals and labs.  She was married to Richard Bossow in 1969, in Snyder.  They were married for 52 years.

Sharon enjoyed reading and watching sports.  Before her disabilities she was an avid golfer and active in many golfing groups. She enjoyed the time she could spend with her grandchildren.  She was an accomplished crafts person and was very artistically creative.  In addition to golf and crafts she enjoyed playing various card games and mah jongg.

Sharon was an outgoing, friendly person who had a kind word for everyone.  Sharon had a strong faith and was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by brothers Walter and Kaye.

In addition to her husband Richard, Sharon is survived by a daughter, Tracey Rice and her husband Brandon of Clermont Fl. and son Ryan Bossow and his wife Gina of Columbus, Ne.  Sharon is survived by three grandchildren, Trenton and Brooklyn Rice and Reece Bossow.  She is also survived by two brothers, Robert Kollmorgen and G. Mark Kollmorgen, and two sisters Joann Henningsen and Ardyce Bartels and sisters and brothers in law, Debbie Jokumsen, Donna Denison, Joan Kollmorgen, Mary Ann Kollmorgen, John Henningsen and Harry Bartels. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held February 8, 2022 at 2:00pm.  The service will be at:  Woodlands Lutheran Church,  15333 C.R. 455, Montverde FL 34756.
