Thetis L. Bryant

Thetis "Weezie" Louise Wheelis Bryant was born on March 31, 1959, in Orlando, FL, and she peacefully left this world on May 26, 2026, in Clermont, FL. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she met. Her devoted husband, Todd Allan Bryant, whom she cherished deeply, survives her after 22 beautiful years together.

Her daughters and grandchildren were her greatest sources of pride and joy. She is survived by her two daughters, Alisha Danielle Tillis, her husband Nathaniel Lee Tillis, and Sarah Louise Frantz, and her husband Brian Keith Frantz. Her beloved grandchildren:Bazil Lee Tillis, Zev Alexis Tillis and her fiancé, Noah Matthew Powers, along with Mattie Marie Monk and Sara Ann Frantz. She loved sharing stories about her children and grandchildren with her colleagues and treasured every moment spent with them.

She also leaves behind her dear siblings, Sarah Mae Buie and Leoma Bennett Wheelis Jr., and his wife, Joni Ellen Wheelis. Her love for her brother and sister meant everything to her, and she always enjoyed their heartfelt conversations; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She delighted in hearing about new family members and did her best to stay connected with everyone.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Leoma Bennett Wheelis Sr. and Margaret Louise Wheelis, as well as her brothers, Hugh Bennett Wheelis and Isaac Jacob Wheelis and her nephew Alton Roy Buie. She adored her family and often shared treasured stories, finding comfort in those memories after their passing.

Throughout her life, she achieved many things, but her greatest treasures were her relationships with family and friends. She poured her love generously and openly to all who knew her. Her kind spirit and enduring love will be deeply missed but will forever remain in our hearts.
