Obituary

Thomas Edison Davis, 92, passed away on February 22, 2024. He was born to the late Robert and Blanche (Rollinson) Davis on October 18, 1931, in Carbondale, Pennsylvania.
Tom spent most of his career as an Aerospace Engineer. At one point during his career, he worked on the large nuclear warhead missile silos in North Dakota. He held one of the highest civilian security clearances issued by the U.S. government. He loved to play golf and worked at the Disney World Golf Resorts during his retirement, being honored as one of the "sharpest dressed golf players."  In the last few years, he got to live on his son, Tom's ranch in Georgia and enjoyed being there with his grandson Sean. While there, he loved wearing what he called his "Western Wear."
He was also known for his sense of humor and loved to give you a hard time. Although he could be tough at times, he did make the family laugh a lot. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Tom is survived by June L. (Merwin) Davis, his loving wife of 73 years; his four children: Judy, Tom, Martha and LuAnn; his seven grandchildren: Andrew, Joseph, Jennifer, Michael, Jacob, Sean, Spencer his 13 great-grandchildren, Avery, Madison, Meira, Meika, Conner, Jager, Kennedy, Spencer, Brody, Wyatt, Aldrik, Logan, Maverick and one great-great-grandson, Carter. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his eight siblings: Bert, Peg, Betty, Ellen, Louis, Robert, Howard and Herb. We love you Tom, Dad, Papa/Grandpa, GP. May you rest in peace.
