Veronica Mary (Rabenstein) Gallagher Kaelin, affectionately known as Ronnie, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026, after a brief illness. Born on July 23, 1940, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Ronnie was the second daughter to the late Andrew and Agnes Rabenstein.
Throughout her life, she embodied the spirit of her hometown, carrying it with her wherever she went. Ronnie’s life was a testament to love, resilience and the bonds of family. Educated at Nazareth Academy, Ronnie graduated in 1958, before earning her bachelor’s degree from Holy Family College in 1962. Her academic accomplishments were merely the beginning of a life filled with learning and growth. After dedicating herself as a stay-at-home mom from 1963-1975, Ronnie embarked on a successful career in real estate. She obtained her real estate license and began working with Century 21, later joining Town & Country Properties, and ultimately finishing a highly respected forty-year career as a Realtor with RE/MAX Choice. Beyond her professional achievements, Ronnie’s life was enriched by her passions and the joy she found in simple pleasures. She was an avid traveler and golfer, yet her heart belonged to the beach, where countless cherished memories were created. Her generosity and loyalty earned her friendships from every chapter of her life; spanning from her school days until her passing, thus highlighting her capacity for enduring relationships.
Ronnie’s legacy of love and compassion lives on through her surviving family, who will continue to honor her memory and the values she instilled in them. She is survived by her children: Elizabeth Cipriano, James Gallagher, Jr., Michael Gallagher, and daughter-in-law, Philippe Gallagher who will remember her limitless love and devotion. Ronnie’s seven grandchildren and great granddaughter carry forward her generosity and loyalty. Stepchildren Bruno Kaelin, III, Patricia Mayle, and William Kaelin were also blessed by Ronnie’s kindness.
In addition to her parents, Ronnie was predeceased by her first husband James Gallagher, Sr., their son Patrick Gallagher, her sister Mary Agnes Clark and her second husband Bruno Kaelin, Jr.
