Willeda Jean (King) Williams, 97, of Clermont, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2024, with her family by her side. She was born in Bridgman, MI to the late William and Bertha (Schlack) King. Willeda began her first career as a cosmetologist in her own salon and then joined the family business at the Sunset Drive-In in Hartford, MI. She and her husband moved to Florida in 1976 and established Winter Garden Auto Parts where she worked until her retirement. She kept busy with helping her children and grandchildren with their businesses. Willeda was a founding member and parishioner of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Leesburg and enjoyed being involved in her church community and events. She was also active with the Clermont Bowling League and the Clermont Quilting Club where she spent good times with friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her children: Roger Williams and wife Pamela, Pamela Bonjorn and husband Joseph and Robert Williams; her 13 grandchildren; her 12 great grandchildren and her eight great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, R.C. Williams.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 28215 S US Highway 27, Leesburg, FL 34748.
