William (Bill) J. Yockel, 82, passed away peacefully in his home in Eustis, Florida, surrounded by his children on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. He was born August 13, 1934 in Hilton, New York.
He is predeceased by his parents Willard & Dorothy (Haitz) Yockel also of Hilton. He is survived by his 4 children, David (Victoria) Yockel, Ann Carpenter (Evan), Terri Yockel & Marc (Darlene) Yockel, 7 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren and his loving cousin Marilyn (James) McCann.
Bill, a graduate of Spencerport High School, retired after 31 years at Eastman Kodak. After retirement, he moved to Eustis where he continued to be an avid Bridge player. He eventually became a Gold Life Master Bridge player, directed a local Bridge Club for many years, and was an usher at St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
Not only a loving father & grandfather, he was a warm and generous person to all who knew him. Truly a man of MANY friends. Heaven is certainly in for a treat.
Services in Rochester & Eustis will be held at a date yet to be determined. Bill will be laid to rest beside his parents at Parma Union Cemetery in Hilton, New York.
